Mysql Database

Ive been try to create a database by using cpanel. Im sure i did it right because i followed the tutorials in the forum board. Are there limitations using free hosting. I can go through the create a database process but it never creates it. would it be easier to make my own and upload it. If so how would i do that. I know how to make a database, but what file do i upload to make a ODBC connection. Thank you in advance.

The file would have to be a .sql file.
Although, the mysql database wizard and the other option should work..

Are you receiving any error messages on the confirmation screen while you attempt to create a database?

The ad enhanced server Stoli is going through a rough time at the moment; this might be the cause of the issue. There is a thread in the Server Alerts forums which explains the problem.

No i get no error message. it says go back, and then i cant find the database that i created i can find my user that i created for the database but no database. In cpanel under status it says "sql database 0/0" i dont know if that means that i cant make a database or if i havent yet. Thank you again

In that case I'll move this to the Level Two Support forums. It's possible that it is just a Stoli issue, but better safe than sorry.

The "Static" Ad-Enhanced plan doesn't bring any MySQL database, so you'll have to upgrade to Advanced or Corporate to be able to use MySQL databases.
