sorry i wasn't clear.

i am trying to use X10's MySQL database in my other website. so if i put "localhost", it would just use my other website's database...

is there any "server name" of x10hosting database for other domain usage?

The name of your subdomain would work fine. But you'd have to ask an admin to add the other site's IP address into the firewall.

So, do you mean only using the MySQL databases and not having a website on this server? If so, I believe that breaches the x10 TOS, for not having a website, but I'm not sure.
