IM running wordpress software on my site, and mid setup earlier tonight, I got a could not connect to the server error. I figured it was an error on my part, deleted the database, and tried to start over with the instalation. Now, a few hours later, I'm having the same problem, and cant even create a new database after deleting the old ones. same with DB users. is this a Fris issue? or have I broken something in my cpanel?

make sure you entered "localhost" as your database host.

Also post the link of your wordpress blog.

The problem is not with wordpress, I could not create, mySQL databases, or users for them. This issue seems to have resolved its self. This was an issue within cpanel. You cant load wordpress without creating a DB for it.

Just for information:

your server absolut is migrating to new server fris, so you may notice some downtime because of that. Everything will be fine after your account get moved to Fris.
