MySQL defaults

I am setting up Joomla and need to enter mysql defaults:

Host Name
User Name
Password

Please excuse me if these are stupid questions, but I assume:
Host Name = localhost
User Name = root
Password = ? (Don't know)

Can I, and should I be changing root password for my DB, or is this not necessary since MySQL is not available over the net?

Hi,

You have got the hostname correct. But the username is wrong, You need to create a MySQL User in the 'MySQL Databases' section of cPanel, your MySQL username will be in the form [cPanel-username]_[whatever-you-want].
