MySQL Error

ERROR: Can not connect to database "DATABASE NAME"

what can i do to fix this or is it a hoster problem

I have the exact same problem on my account. "can't connection database" or "error establishing connection to database".

How do I fix this? Please don't tell me I lost all my database files!!!

Can you provide the link that is causing the error

I think that you should search the forums first.

The Admins are working on accounts as the accounts are moving to new servers.

So, the server is under maintenance.

The problems which may occur with you :-

• You will be unable to Log IN to Cpanel.
• You may pe rejected saying UNAUTHENTICATED when using FTP.
• You may get errors in connecting to any Mysql Databases.

I got all these problems and got the answers in the Forum.

So, it is required to be patient.

One more thing, I suggest you to create the backup using PHPmyAdmin in the future.

Even, if you can, keep a backup of your files also and keep updating it in a week.
