I have a dynamic ip, is there any way that i can make this easier on you guys and myself by being able to access my database without always pm'ing an admin my ip? if its a matter of having a firewall on my mysql server, i dont really need/want one on mine, if that helps.

If I do have to have a firewall on my server, is there a list of the admins that can add me to the firewall, or can any admin add me to the firewall. I dont want to keep bothering one admin about this and if one admin isnt online, im sure there are others online. Thanks in advance for all your help!

This has been asked before, and as all external connections need to be added to our firewall exceptions list, I seem to remember Corey saying he wasn't happy about adding a range of IP's to the firewall (as would be needed for a dynamic IP).
Can I ask, what do you need the external connection for - and why not use phpMyAdmin in cPanel?

i connect to my mysql databases to publish something called psychostats. (PsychoStats :: Comprehensive Gaming Statistics) It uses my mysql databases and it lets our clan check our stats and stuff. I can set it up manually using phpmyadmin if I have to, its just that its 10x easier using a remote mysql database connection.
