MySQL Issue

I know that the Absolut server has been up and down over the past few days, but that has mostly been HTTP, my issue is that when HTTP is up, my site cannot connect to the MySQL server. I've checked both Chris S' thread and my account page and both show that MySQL is up on Absolut; I've also checked my cPanel and it shows my database just like it's supposed to. The problem is that my WordPress blog can't connect to it for some reason. I've already changed it back to connect on "localhost" awhile back and it was working fine until just recently. Is this a problem that others are facing?

Have you changed mysql.x10hosting.com to localhost in your config.php?

Yes. I made that change awhile back when Corey first mentioned that they were reverting the MySQL server changes. Unless the MySQL server isn't located at localhost, my configuration settings in WordPress should be correct, yet it still isn't able to connect to the server.
