MySQL Password and username invalid

I'm trying to install SMF forum and Joomla, but when I get to the part where I must write the host (it's stoli right?) MySQL databae password, username and name from the database, I proceed and I get the error "Invalid Username and/or password" what's the problem

Host is 'localhost'
Database user names are of the format: martipev_yadda
