MySQL/Wordpress Issues

Hi all!

I'm new to x10hosting.com, and I'm having an issue with my site. (jt1990.x10hosting.com) I need to setup wordpress on it, and I've created a MySQL database which I can log into using MySQL Administrator. However, when I enter the exact same information into the wp-config.php file, I get an error saying that the install can't connect to the database. Can someone help me out with this? This is for a class, so I need help ASAP. I also tried to email customer support, but got an error saying that the email didn't go through properly...

Did you set the host to 'localhost' ?

And the db and user have your username as a prefix, ie yadda_wpuser and yadda_wpdata

No go. Is there something specific that I need to add/change in the database? I didn't actually put anything in it - I just created an empty database figuring that WP would put in the required fields and stuff...

Did you run the wordpress installer? It should install all the correct database settings and files for you. If not then try it. If that doesn't work try linking your database with the user.

Do you have set the CHMOD Rights on your Host? Of Course please saya a asking to the Local Server Administrator. Second Actuall Wordpress have some installation Notes to Install on a Server. Please search on your local Download. Please inform when you have more Problems.
Search for actuall PHP and MySQL Version on the Local Server. Is this allright? Please contact me here on the Forum, when you need more Help.
