need help installing ads in joomla

I followed the instructions for installing the ads in the corporate plan here: http://forums.x10hosting.com/tutorials/22222-how-insert-ads-joomla.html , but when I tried to upload the mod from my joomla admin pannel, i recieved an internal server error and a 404 page not found error. I checked my cmods and they are all writable, is this just the server? or am I doing something wrong

A 404 error is saying that the page it's looking for is either not there or is not named properly.

You have to upgrade your PHP level to Intermediate
You can do this by going to http://x10hosting.com/accounts
Log in,then you scroll down until you see the PHP Version, click on the radio button and a text box will appear, type the reason why you need the intermediate version and click continue process.You should get a reply within 24 Hours

I tried to do this myself on the server stoli but it still did not work, i'm still not able to upload the module installer so i cant put the AD on all the pages of my website...Help Please
