need help learning xml

on my mybb forum i want to conver my current site layout to work on my forum but i dont know how to configure the xml file
anyway my template is called multiflex 3 and its from 1234.info

XML is a lot like HTML if you know html then you should be able to pick up on XML very quickly without much effort or research.

What about XHTML1, thats dead easy if you know HTML4 just a few different syntax things.
