need help setting up my chat program

i have paid for a chat program called Totalchatroom
and would like to get it setup on my site ...


however i am having trouble with this bc i can't seam to be able to code things right ...

this is a paid for chat program and it is of the right format ...

it runs on php and unix and lynx ..

any help would be great

i'm not totally sure, but i think you just wasted your money cuz i don't think we allow chat programs on the server, or wait no i think it's just IRCs (no IRCs!) but i think chatrooms are ok if they're not IRCs

Chat rooms are fine, otherwise we wouldn't have the option for you to install them from cPanel.

@plinkous: What is giving you a problem? Are you recieving some kind of error message? We can't help much if we don't know the specific problem.

this is the server error that i am getting

Internal Server Error

Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.

and i have the person that wrote the totalchat 1.0 trying to help me with getting it set up and he is getting the same error message ..

any idea as to what might be wrong ??

could be a .htaccess program

what does the .htaccess file look like

and chat programs are allowed as long as they are not resource intensive

Hi if anyone else is looking for a good free chatroom try SIGMA CHAT its real easy to set up and you can customize it to your liking there is also a paid version which has loads more features, i might upgrade to it soon but for now the free version is great:biggrin:
