Hey there,

I am brand new at hosting anything on the web. I need help with hosting my x10 account. If someone could me a sort of walkthrough on getting started I would be extremely grateful. Thanks.

It may sound boring, but it’s very important that you become familiar with some basic rules of your free hosting.

Then, start having fun. To create your website, you should start with your index.html page, with some understanding of html. This tutorial site can help you: http://www.w3schools.com/html/default.asp (not only for html, it has great tutorials)

All your webpages should go in the public_html directory (find it in cPanel->Files->File Manager)

Add the following bookmarks to your browser:

After a while, you may either want to do some programming (like php) or get a website started with some CMS (or maybe do both things at the same time, why not!)

Or if you dont have any knowledge of html, you can use many softwares available to use like dreamweaver , wysiwyg web builder etc.
