Need help with WP backup issue

Hey guys,

My WP site received a critical error the other day so I thought the best course of action would be to restore one of my backups. The backup showed to be successful, but now it shows "Installation files not found" at the WordPress management. I am also not able to login to WP to edit the site, it shows "This page isn't working".

First time creating a site, so not really sure where to go from here or if I have completely screwed things up.

Tried looking up a method of fixing it, but was unsuccessful.

Anyone happen to know what my issue is?

x10 does not provide support for wordpress officially.
for help with wordpress you can try their support website.
or you can wait and see if anyone else has experienced your issue.
but no promises with that.

it sounds like after your first install setup files were deleted.
meaning you would have to remove/delete wordpress then re install it again.

Do you happen to know if that would entail deleting the databases in the MySQL Management as well?

there would be a chance your default database was also compromised.
so in my opinion yes id also go with a fresh database as well.
