Hai im new to hsting the web page,i had registered my domain name in x10hosting site but i didnt build the site ,i need a help on how to build a site and promote it through web.

Starting right from the basics? Wow. Hmmm. This forum is more aimed at specific help but here goes.

First establish your site in your head. What does it do? Why will people use it? How will it look? These and many other questions should be answered before you even create index.htm

Then learn a web language. HTML is a good start. If you need a dynamic page (something that will update for particular users) then you'll need to learn PHP, SQL and probably Javascript as well.

Practice, play and learn. Google is your friend and should be used extensively.

I'm not even going to start on promotion, there's no need until you have something to promote

I would suggest learning a bit of html, but making your template can be kind of hard at first especially without photoshop or a WYSIWYG editor. I would look for a free website template add content to it, get visitors, etc... Then start learning more about php, mysql, css, xhtml, etc...

Additionally sign up for a gmail and Yahoo account. and try to look around, they have some tools for you to manage your websites... I will put a link here soon. If the thread is still open.

and in google search type the URL (e.g. http://yourpage.x10hosting.com) as a search and it will prompt the google bot to check out your site earlier and if the content is right it will index your page.
