What do you mean by you can't connect to it? Does it time out? Is the connection refused? Are your computers connected to the internet through a router? Can you connect to the server from the computer running it?

I am connected through a wireless router. My ip address is: 72.142.194.142
And when i put that in address it wont connect. So i put it as 127.0.0.1 and it connects but i dunno if any other of my djs can connect with that ip.

Nedren maybe yoiu can try connecting to my server? Ill send you a pm with password and stuff?

Thats on my shoutcats thing.

You got it to work? Sorry I didn't respond any sooner.

The reason you see two "different" IP addresses is because the 192.168.x.x one is the IP given to you by your router, and the other one is your actual IP given to you by your ISP.

So... You don't need anymore help? I've set like 10 shoutcast servers up, so if you still do I can help.

i know you asked nedren but people cant go to your router adress(192.168.xxx.xxx) because if they have a router they will have the same ip as you. and for people to connect you your real ip you would need to open the correct ports called prtforwarding search it on google.
