Need some thoughts on my new design.

I have totally redesigned my website and want some feedback. I also want some feedback on the new theme I am creating called Abstract Caution.

Pro: Good color, good layout
Con: background is distracting, hard to read text,

Notes:I would recommend a sans-serif font, since they look best on websites. Also to make the background less distracting, give the background of the tables that have text in them, a solid color bg. but the design and concepts is good

You need to change the font. Although I have no problem reading the text on that background. The colours are good, but I would change the colour of 'Directory' even though it is a link, would look better.

Also you could try increasing the font size of the menu headings. The other thing that needs sorting is the login form.

If you change those things, it'll be a good layout.

Well, the layout is pretty good, I didn't liked the Color scheme of your website. Try to avoid Special characters in the title of your website, it should look professional. Not much content on the homepage, try to make / put more content on the homepage.
