For the uninitiated, ionCube is:

ionCube produces leading tools for PHP source code protection to secure your PHP software from prying eyes and to combat software piracy. Featuring an advanced compiled-code encoding engine that translates source to highly efficient bytecodes, ionCube encoding tools deliver the ideal combination of maximum source code protection without sacrificing performance, reliability or language compatibility.

I can't see how this request would be actioned somehow... Especially not if you're on a shared server.

I've read a few threads and could of swore that IonCube was installed on the servers.
Due to recent updates, changes and events - it may have been disabled for some reason.
Do you get an error when you try and use it??

Have you tested ionCube to make sure it's working properly because my script is still not working correctly?

Thanks, I know you guys are busy.

I'll check back later.

I'm trying to get a script to run and can't figure out exactly why it won't.

I'm not exactly tech savvy but haven't had this problem with this script on
other hosts.

Here is where I'm at:

Script is installed in public_html and permissions are set at 777

MySQL database is set up.

IonCube is installed at the same level as the script, these three files and
permissions:
ioncube-encoded-file.php 1 KB application/x-httpd-php 0644
ioncube_loader_lin_5.2.so 959 KB application/octet-stream 0644
ioncube_loader_lin_5.2_ts.so 1010 KB application/octet-stream 0644

At this point I'm supposed to run the /installDb.php and it is supposed to
redirect me to /login.php
and this is where it fails, all I get is a blank page.

Anyone recognize a problem in this and/or what I need to do to get it to work
correctly?

Thanks for your help,

Jeff
