So, for new domain holders, when your accounts suspended, you have to make a new thread to get it back online.

It is a requirement you agreed to when you signed up that you must visit the forums at least once every two weeks. Posting or anything is not required.
It's a very good way of attempting to keep people informed. If it was three months keeping track of inactive accounts and trying to keep everyone up to date with server status would be much harder.
Well, if it was every three months, you'd be on here every couple weeks complaining about something that you would of known about if you had logged in.
