New Game Site

Before I start.....is it ok for me to have a browser based game hosted by x10hosting through my site?

If not please disreguard this topic and tell me that I am not allowed to do it. (thankyou)

Now if it is allowed......I have all the files and everything for this web based business game....I obtained the scripts and things like that.

Now there is only one problem.....to have it hosted by x10hosting through my site how I would I get my scripts onto this site....it is well written in php.

The script can be found on http://sourceforge.net/projects/simuland/

My question or something I could use some help on is...do I just import it from CPanel...and that's it.

Or do I need to install phpbb2 or things like that to have this web browser based online strategy game?

If anyone can help, if what I am doing is ok with x10hosting, I would greatly appreciate it.

And if it works....I will pay credits and +rep.

Ow.....So thankful x10Hosting lets me have a browser based game.

Chougard you just made me very happy.
.......do you know what hrenovic said with the !!!!! at the end.... I thought I was going to get banned or something like that.

Well I hope someone knows how I can do it...when you have time chougard if it is possible some help with it would be greatly appreciated.

Like I said I wouldn't mind wasting all my credits to receive help for this....

I tried doing what I think was supposed to be done for it so far...not sure it what I did was the correct thing though.

I went to my file manager and created or added a /public_html/Simuland....part so it would be "something".elementfx.com/Simuland.

I added the things that were in that script and put them exactly the same way they were in the script right onto the /public_html/Simuland file I created.

I finished doing it being so happy I got my first web browser game done (though not sure if it would work).

I went to the url for it......and then.....

..... I know I don't have a database....thats where someone can have a chance to earn credits....or if I do get that part done with help...and the site still doesn't work ...credits will be issued to people to helped me the most over and the first 2 people that posted something even if they wrote in a different language.

you need to edit the configmain.php page. I suggest to use NotePad2, or NotePad if you don't have 2.
in cPanel, search for MySQL Databases, it has a little seal icon. Create a database in there.
Once you got all the infomation, plug what is required into the configmain.php
When that is done, go into PHPMyAdmin, it was a sailboat.
Select the database you are using for Simuland,
the second tab over on the top, says SQL, click on that
in the text box, insert the data from 'sqlbetav4.sql' C+P method (copy and paste), and click go.
and you should be done

It says database host......i left it at local host....not working....

since this is hosted from x10hosting.... where would i find my ip?

Click the red by his post specifically, and in there, explain what was said and what language it's in; someone'll come along and clear it if they can find a translator that speaks the same language (I've no idea what language it's even in).

That'll be the best way to clear it; won't require a mod to read the thread because they'll get a report about it instead
