New Google

I'm not sure how widespread this is in other countries, but it appears that Google.com and Google.co.uk have a new front page and search. The new logo and frontpage definitely looks a bit more crisp and up to date:

The search results page also has a newer look, with icons for the search options:

Beyond this there are also numerous other tweaks. Overall, I think the new design is a good upgrade that makes the search results a little
So, what do you think about the new Google?

Well, this is odd. I do not see any changes in Google home page or search results page. At first I thought it might be something to do with iGoogle but I logged out and nothing changed. And, yes, I DID clear my browser cache.... . Maybe the "new google" has not reached the big city of Calf Creek Texas yet.....

I like the new design. I love Google's clean and simple website especially the home page.

There was a Javascript way to access a prototype of the design back in November. The final design seems to be similar except they removed the blue buttons.

What ? cant believe . I think its more than two weeks

It does not make sense, but I am lucky to have Internet at all. Very, very slow dial up and satellite service with some absolutely ridiculous bandwidth restrictions are only two choices. I have not cleared cookies lately. Maybe that will do the trick.

I noticed the new changes a few days ago as well. I like it.
