the MySQL server is always offline!
I'm currently making a small private social network for me and my friends. I'm using Drupal, which is great, but it needs a database to work. I've had my x10 account up and running for a couple days now, but I haven't been able to make a database yet because the server is down.
I'm building/testing the site with my computer's Apache server and a database saved on my HDD, and it works great. However, I want to move the site to x10 so my friends can access it.
1. Will I ever be able to create a database that is hosted on the x10 server and NOT on my computer?
2. Does the MySQL server on x10 crash often? How long does it usually take for it to come back online? Will this be a regular thing, and will it make my site useless if/when it happens again?
