Hi everyone I'm new to this hosting thing but I bought a .com a couple months ago and I recently got internet at my new place. So I scoured the internet for a free host which I might upgrade with.
I'm 25 and I live in California. I wanted to do something Social Network wise with my friends. I personally really like Oxwall since it is Open Source (everything else I looked at like BoonEx is really bloated and has tons of useless parts) and really lightweight and quite soon I hope to figure all of it out. I personally really just like the look and flow of Oxwall because it's really nice laid out and it has tons of options that others don't in all the right places. I would like to do something without videos and games (no farmville or apps for stupid crap), pics are ok but I'm just not down with glitter pics and not a ridiculous amount of changing your profile around. I want simple, elegant, and easy to use for myself and my users.
Post pics, message people, groups, search, blogs, forum, a wall type deal (damn u facebook... lol) simple in my book cuts the cake.
Well i wish to remain here for many many years. Everyone here seems really chill internet folk. I also really really appreciate what x10 is doing.
