2 things, one.. Login and passwords are both case sensitive.. Also, if it doesn't work.. try http://lotus.x10hosting.com:2082

sorry for all the newbie questions, russ. i'm still having trouble logging in by ftp. when i ftp to ftp.stosureplain.x10hosting.com and login with username 'stosure' and password from welcome email, i get '530 Login authentication failed'.

also, my site at http://stosureplain.x10hosting.com/ still reads as "domain available." is this right? i've already edited index.html in my public_html folder. thanks in advance for any help you can give.

The DNS entry for your subdomain was missing.
I've added it and your website is working now. You'll need to clear your cache and temporary files and make a flush of your DNS to be able to reach your website.
