Hi everyone, is it possible for x10 to have a new server with Windows O/S on it so that members can start to host .ASP pages?

I would also like to see this happen; because most of the forum software out there now uses .ASP and not PHP; there are only a few PHP forums out there; such as SMF; PHPBB; IPB; etc

Not enough people request it to justify a whole server just for ASP. We're working out ways to get it to work on linux still. Just haven't had as much time as I would like to get it working.

I think you have it the other way around. Everyone uses PHP now, not ASP.

Ok maybe your right; but most forums; that i have run across at least; use mostly php; but then require .asp for a small part; and that small part is usually important; or just annoying if you don't have it

I have to agree with Corey, everyone uses PHP rather than ASP now, but than, most asp developers use them to create game sites to view ODBC databases. I know PHP could do the same, but its rather easy to code asp using dreamweaver... And since x10 has a gaming industry now, maybe its a start?... I don't know, besides, there's not many free asp hosting around. This is just a suggestion tho, I'm not trying to say its a MUST have. :happysad:
