Hi, my name is Steve. I'm totally new to this web administration environment even though I've been around and involved in networking technologies for a lonnng time. My desire is to expand administrative knowledge and experience with the cPanel tool as an admin environment, and will probably use an existing personal web page as source material. I hope to learn more about html programming basics and then expand into some enhanced skills that I would like to use and apply to a commercial small business web site. That's the big picture.
I'm currently experiencing the same problem as many other recent postings. New account, new domain, and no ability to log in to cPanel.
I've tried clearing all history/temp files from IE 6, and also tried using FireFox 2.0. Both browsers give the same response. When attempting to login I'm first presented with a network challenge. This challenge does not do anything and will not accept my account credentials. When cleared I am then presented with a cPanel login page. My credentials used to login to this forum will not work there either.
I received an ad-free hosting account confirmation email, an ad-free hosting account creation email, and two account linking emails. Both of the account linking emails has a different link number. Neither will accept a login now.
I think I must have requested a second account during the creation process and it has hosed the whole thing up. What should be done now?
