No A record for domain?

Hello,
Yesterday I set ns1.x10hosting.com and ns2.x10hosting.com as the authoritative name servers for ideagrade.com. When I query those name servers, I still do not see an A record for that domain. My Account Management Panel shows "Primary Domain:http://ideagrade.com" Is that all that I need to do in order for the A record entry to be created? How long does it usually take?
