Hi,

On my free hosting account panel you have posted an update saying that all systems are finished and should now be all working however i cannot access cPanel no matter which method i use... also, my website uses MySQL a fair bit and no matter which database it tries to select it is just spitting out errors saying it cannot connect...?!

Username: swlmedia
Domain: http://www.swlmedia.co.cc

Please help!

Hey darzamora,

This is the URL i usually use to access my cPanel however when i enter my login details it says in red "Login Attempt Failed!" :frown:

i have also tried "https://chopinnew.x10hosting.com:2083/login/" again with my user details but is still says "Login Attempt Failed!"

What might i be doing wrong? i can still access other things like FTP and webmail and other services but just cPanel and MySQL are playing up! ...

Thanks,

Louis

Login to account panel http://x10hosting.com/control and reset the cpanel password.
Then try the https://chopinnew.x10hosting.com:2083/login/

by the way the mysql is under move. http://x10hosting.com/forums/news-announcements/117437-mysql-update.html

MySQL was being moved recently, might still be iffy

check your sql user accounts and permissions, then try a basic file which connects to the database and executes a simple query

mattura,

i have checked my user account(s) and there permissions for all the tables and there all in place... i don't get how phpMyAdmin can load the tables no problem and show the tables content yet when i come to execute a php page with a MySQL script on it, it says something along the lines of "unable to select the database"

AH! guys =P i just went into cPanel and loaded up the mySQL bit and ran "Repair DB" on all 3 of my databases and its now all working! It could be just crazy timing and in fact something was changed at x10's end or it could be the repair database that fixed it! =D!
