Aight, i'm having problems getting ports forward through the DSL Router i have which is a Westell 6100. I've looked on port-forward.com and attempted to follow the steps they listed then go to my no-ip domain and it still does not work.

Link: http://ry4.zapto.org

Any ideas? x]

I assume you want to try and run a small server on your computer. If you followed the steps correctly in http://portforward.com then next thing you need is to signup for no-ip dynamic ip service. Get their updater so that everytime your ip changes it can detect it and set the domain to your new ip address. Also when I try to check the sample page I created I use a proxy because somehow it doesn't support a loopback.

Another way is to get a router that supports DDNS almost every Linksys and Netgear dose. Set up a DDNS acc at dyndns.com cause there better then no-ip. Set your router to work with your new DDNS acc and your done.

Where ever you go enter your name url and you get directed to that computer.
