It has been about 12 hours since my request was granted to update php to advance, and many post in the forum for help in getting my site back up.
the following errors are still showing..

Warning: fopen() [function.fopen]: URL file-access is disabled in the server configuration in /home/melvinp/public_html/surfsearcher.com/infusions/rss_parser_panel/parser.php on line 78

Warning: fopen(http://www.php-mag.net/magphpde/psecom,id,26,noeid,26,.html) [function.fopen]: failed to open stream: no suitable wrapper could be found in /home/melvinp/public_html/surfsearcher.com/infusions/rss_parser_panel/parser.php on line 78
could not open source file

It looks like fopen is disabled. I am no expert, I am greatful for the free host, but have no use for a site that no longer works....

Please advise a solution.

thanks in advance

Just remove the RSS feeds for now. That would be my suggestion.

I would love to disable the rss feed, but it is preventing the entire page from loading, thus I can't get the login which is on the right side of the page, and fusion is made so you can't access many files directly, such as login.php or admin panel for security reasons. In others words, I can't get to the backend to disable the rss feed.

Bryon, I just found away via ftp to disable my panel that displays my rss feed.
By renaming the file, My site now seems to be displaying.

Sounds like this is resolved, please re-open if I'm wrong.
