I just wanted to say that I was never sent the normal warning email for when my account will be suspended for inactivity. (usually there's a reminder, then another when it's actually suspended). I received neither. I also made sure that my email was right, and it was already correct.

My account is not suspended right now (went through the unsuspension process), but I was wondering why the email was never sent? Or maybe it got lost somewhere?

(This topic is not urgent nor is it an true problem, I am simply asking)

I guess eventually I should just upgrade to paid hosting so I don't have to do this any more XD

Plz check your spam folders too and notify your email client that emails from X10 should not be put to spam.
The easiest way to do this is to add the x10 email id to your addressbook.

For sure the emails are sent but many loose them to their spam filters and are put in spam folders.
You know x10 never spams and you need to notify the email client in the way I told above.

That's the thing though, it never made it to my spam folder. I checked every folder in my email account, it is simply not there. The email never made it to my account. I know the email is correct though, because I rechecked it in the account information, and also I use it to login to the account panel. This is very odd :|

Some email providers simply do not like x10hosting and theres nothing we can do about it really.
You may need to talk to your email provider.

I'll try shooting off an email to AOL and see what happens

I changed some settings in AOL, so maybe it will get through... if not this could get annoying :|

I have just learned that this problem is also happening with Xfire, so this is really starting to bug me. It is leading me to think that there are even more accounts I have that are not getting emails delivered that I don't even know about :/

I submitted a feedback comment. AOL is not very user friendly when it comes to this sort of thing :(

You could try a new provider? Hotmail receives the notification emails with no trouble, as does gmail. I know hotmail has issues with emails sent from people's accounts here though via php mail().

So far it's looking like that may be the only option. AOL has not responded yet :(

Ok, so I setup an account with Mail.com and tested it, and it works for both x10 and xfire, so I set it to send an alert to my aol when an email is received. I still have not heard a peep from AOL, so, yeah their support sucks. Nothing like x10's ;)

Thanks for the tips, I'm marking this as closed.
