I am trying to remove "myvideotech.com" from my hosting account so that I can use it elsewhere. unfortunately even having changed my main domain and deleting sub-domains, haven't completely removed it.
"pcstatus.myvideotech.com" appeared as a sub-domain after trying to remove the "myvideotech.com" domain.
Thank you for taking the time to read this. I hope that this is not a difficult thing to edit out. I

This is a limitation of cPanel. When you created the addon domain of myvideotech.com, you chose the name of pcstatus for it, therefore a subdomain was created.

With cPanel (and possibly other control panels as well), you can access addon domains through myvideotech.com as well as pcstatus.myvideotech.com. Removing one removes the other.

I'm sorry, I wasn't very clear in my explanation.
When I started my account, I linked it to myvideotech.com as its main domain.
I did create 2 subdomains learn. and test. but both were deleted before my attempt to remove the main domain.
Once all apps linked to subdomains were removed, I proceeded to change my main domain on the account to a pcstatus.elementfx.com. This action generated the subdomain pcstatus.myvideotech.com although there was no mention of it(pcstatus.myvideotech.com) in cpanel as subdomain or addon.
In effect, I have no options to delete this pcstatus.myvideotech.com.
I tried switching back myvideotech.com to the main domain, that relayed a message about " this domain is already in use".
I hope I was detailed enough, I am kinda nubish in this area and your assistance is greatly appreciated.

pcstatus.myvideotech.com is removed from your cPanel now and myvideotech.com will not give already used error anymore.
