not able to access account

Hi all I seem to be going in circles. I created username sascha72 but I would like to upload FTP files to my web space. It keeps telling me I need to apply for a hosting account and when I do I keep getting the message I already have one. I also get "you have important notifications regarding your account click here to view them" and when I do nothing happens. Please help! Thanks
