Not able to post ads on wordpress

I've been trying to set up my site and I wanted to add the required ads and nothing worked. So I followed the instructions on http://forums.x10hosting.com/tutorials/26686-how-insert-ads-wordpress.html#post171362

but I've probably tried with 12 different themes and the method doesn't work. Anyone have another method?

You may have a Pop-Up Blocker/Firewall, or something that is blocking the ads, becuase I see the Advanced ads at the bottom of your website.

Ok thank you, I was worried because I thought the ads weren't there
