Hi.

I run Joomla 1.5x, and I have Kunena running. I tried to upload via Kunena some screenshots of Joomla 1.6 in a post. After I selected the screenshots I wanted to upload, It transfered the files, but I got this error, and it only accepted 1 of the screenshots. Anyway, here is the error.

  • JFTP::mkdir: Bad response
  • JFTP::mkdir: Bad response
  • JFTP::mkdir: Bad response
  • JFTP::mkdir: Bad response
  • JFTP::mkdir: Bad response
  • JFTP::mkdir: Bad response

  • Failed to upload file '': Failed to create directory to store your file.
  • Failed to upload file '': Failed to create directory to store your file.
  • Failed to upload file '': Failed to create directory to store your file.

So what could be causing this? does it have something to do with Joomla/Kunena, or is it the server?

I have no idea, and getting your input would be really appreciated!

Sounds like a permission error. I'd venture to guess that the folder needs to be 777 permissions for this, but you can always try to restrict it to 755 if it starts working correctly.

Hi.

Okay thanks, that's good to know. Now to figure out which directory needs changing.

Thanks again garretroyce for the help.
