Nvidia Geforce 7800GTX SLI

Was running it with Battlefield 2, when one of the cards got hot I took it back because the fan was defective. So I was playing with one card and I got a higher FPS rate then with two? Any idea maybe the card was bad? I haven't installed the new one yet.

No, I don't really think its bad, I think it might be because it overheats, and with it being like that; you should probably get a cooling system.
