mysql is up but there might be too many connections or something... or maybe "someone" is doing something on the server.

lol, that's the problem with us guys that can't pay for hosting... the free hosting plans are either for free (no posts) and are on overcrowded servers or like lifelesspeople require you to post but do actually limit how many accounts per server so they're stable. Maybe after x10hosting has paid hosting and has some more money it'll get better...
