On those missing Icons again

I spaced out and never returned to the thread I started on this topic:

From the last post to there by misson , it appears that the icons exist, just at slightly different links, e.g. (http://www.x10hosting.com/forums/images/icons/icon1.gif ) instead of the actual forum page links such as http://www.x10hosting.com/images/icons/icon1.gif which I am trying to use for this thread right now by selecting from the broken "Post Icons" list on the "Post New Thread" page.

Seems like it ought not to be that hard to fix and it looks rather tacky to have all those missing images next to the list of threads.

Is starting a formal trouble ticket the best way to get this changed?

It used to be here: http://forums.x10hosting.com/project.php for bug tracking on the site, but they removed my permission (and presumably, everyone else's). Submit a ticket maybe? I'm sure they know, it's probably not a high priority since they're working so hard on the free servers at the moment.

Well, I'll put in a trouble ticket anyway. Just seems so sloppy to have them all available but not usable, and in spite of low priority, how hard is it to change a few links?

This may be an issue that is different for admins than users. There are some forum features that don't work for us, but they do for them, so they don't notice unless someone tells them.

Less than 24 hours after submitting the trouble ticket on this issue, got it fixed!

You'll notice all the icons now showing up where there used to just be the little broken link image.

I have only one thing to say on the subject....

I noticed that the icons were missing, but I never really did much about it and thought it was a temporary issue. It's nice that the icons are back now, seeing as we no longer have to have text representations of the icons.

This proves two things to me:

1) X10 support is responsive
2) Users actively participating can make a difference.

I am glad to have found x10 and to be able to help make it better
