Hi.
I don't know if this is a problem with my Joomla program or is it the server?

I just went to my website (running Joomla), and everything looked fine from going to Kuena forum, to other pages. I just visited the site again and the frontpage looks fine, but every other page has lost it's structure it is the weirdest thing I have ever seen.

I have checked the database for errors, and everything has come back ok, so what's happened? Can anyone give me a heads up on what could be wrong please? Any help will be appreciated.

Site is aio1155.x10.mx

Thanks ahead of time.

Have you made any recent changes of any kind to Joomla?
Changed / modified template, added or deleted plugins or modules, made any other changes?

Hi, and thanks for the reply.

I activated the FTP option in Joomla (Global Configuration), and I did a Xcloner back up of the system. I haven't done anything else to it. Once I noticed the pages not keeping their structure, I disabled the FTP option. I did notice that with the FTP option had public_html as the ftp root directory. I am wondering if that did anything to the system or not?

I have backed up the system using Xcloner before, and everything has always worked out fine, so I have no idea what could be going on.

Cheers, and thanks again for the reply.

Hi.

Just an update. I just switched templates to see if it was a bad template that was causing this, but nope it's doing the same thing. I hope I don't have to re-install.

Cheers, and take care!

Hi again.

I have figured it out. It's something I did change but forgot all about it. I'll tell you what I did just so anyone else out there who has this real stupid problem will know where to look.

In the Joomla Global Configuration->Site there is an option named 'Search Engine Friendly URLs'. I turned it to Yes, and when I did that, my other pages went all haywire.

The website is working fine now. I just want to apologize to you good people for bothering you about this problem when it was a clear move of stupidity on my part for messing around with the options.

I just want to thank you carl6969 for responding.

Did not really think about SEF because I have never used it, but I have heard that can make a mess of things sometimes.
Anyway, glad everything is working again.
Since the problem is solved I am going to close this thread now but if you have any other questions or issues feel free to open a new thread.
