open public_html

from my root i can see public_html. using ws_ftp 12 i can not open it to load files there. I changed to filezilla portable and could not open it there either.

Command: CWD public_html
Response: 550 Can't change directory to public_html: Permission denied
Error: Failed to retrieve directory listing

i'm trying to get my index.html in it for the outside world to see. however cant open it.

can' open it so i'll try www:

Have you tried using your file manager in cPanel? Hopefully you can access it there.

It looks like public_html is owned by root:wheel rather than your account. I'm escalating so an admin can fix it.
