Other types of games?

I am looking for online games that are similar to Maplestory and are just as free to play.

I am signed up for NosTale ( http://www.nostale.co.uk ) and just got on MapleStory, but would like to sample some other interesting games out there. Nothing along the lines of WoW ... but I have heard of one called Tale of Pirates ( or something like that )

Anyone have any they have played, still play or would recommend?

There are so many now that it is hard to find a good one, I know a few people who have played Silkroad. Yah it sounds kinda corny I know, but you can't expect something like WoW for free. Not to mention I HATE WoW. Alot of these games have stories you can follow. WoW gets so mixed there is no main story for your character.

A non-3d one, which it was like when I have played it, it could have changed in the 2 years. But it is also free, or at least has a free subscription with just a few small things left out that you could probobly live without. MU online used to be pretty fun.

Agh... and there is another 3d one that is really actually playable... and for more than a few hours. I can't think of it right now but I will post if I can remember it.

Seems SilkRoad's website is down or something, but will look into that a little later tomorrow.
I am getting the hang of MapleStory ( I think ) ... and yeah, I agree - I am not really into WoW either. I have friend's who are and they spend every waking minute in it ...

Yah, WoW addiction at it's worst. Yah you have to try loading Silkroad's website twice the first time for some reason, musta been the link from x10 I don't know.

Gunbound, Runescape, Kart Rider, Audition, Habbo Hotel, and many others that i can't remember that I have on my computer.
