Bryon... what's wrong with the Regents? They're too easy (okay, all right, maybe Chem, Physics and Math B may be harder than the others)
I'm a high school senior this year and I think we have about 7 days left until graduation (I'm not counting Regents Days and other uneventful days). I've asked our class president and the valedictorian to keep the graduation speeches short. My reasoning: 90 degrees outside, 110 degrees inside the un-air conditioned Brooklyn Tech auditorium, 120 degrees with cap and gown and 180 degrees with the crowd around you. Class president said "no" and I'm sure that the valedictorian will probably make it long while she's concurring to my rationale, just to spite me.
I won't really have a true "summer vacation," as I'm in the Teacher's Academy program at Hunter College (though I'm not sure if I'll be in that program for all four years, I'll certainly give it a try) and classes start in the summer
! If I can help if, I plan to get a part-time job to try and defray the transit costs and possibly get something for myself without feeling too guilty. During spare time, I may go around the city, see my friends before they leave to their colleges.
