Password not working on new domain

I can't get on the cpanel or use the ftp. It says my password is incorrect but I'm sure I used the correct one, then I changed pass.. still nothing.
Should I request a new domain?
I set same pass for forums as for account, is that causing issues maybe?
I can log in to the account panel... you should be able to change pass for cpanel and ftp there right?
