Password Protect Directories

:lockdear Sir,
I have seen your video tutorial of how to password protect directories and it worked. But I have a problem.

Query 1)How can I add a Logout button to my site?(After users log in and view the site they can logout.)

Query 2) Without a logout page once we login and view the site,the next time we log in it does not ask for username and password but directly opens index.html . How can I solve this problem?

"Basic Authentication", the method by which you password protect a directory using .htaccess does not have a "logout" capability. You stay logged in as long as your browser is open.

You need some other of "login" system to do what you want. Maybe using PHP and sessions/cookies.
