Password protect folders

Is it possible for me to password protetc a folder on my computer so no oen can access it but me?

Not through windows but there are many third party programs that would do that.

I'm pretty sure you can hide it, but if someone knows the address they can pop right into it.

I know one called: "Folder Guard". You have to pay for it though. (There's a trial too)

I hide all my online works... So yes, I need this too. My mom randomly deletes folders on my desktop...

Anyway to lock them to Explorer.exe process and password protect them?

Ive found a free( :D) program called folder lock. OS i dont need nay more links.
