Password protecting directories

Hi,

I would like to be able to password protect a directory on my website so that only myself and one other person is able to access it. I couldn't see this anywhere in cPanel itself.
Any Ideas and help are welcome.

You could use this to generate .htaccess and .htpasswd files http://tools.dynamicdrive.com/password/

then upload the .htaccess to the folder you want to protect, and upload the .htpasswd to some location "higher" than public_html or www in the ftp file tree.
