PDFs being deleted

Our site has a PDFs folder with links to various PDFs we have uploaded (specifically our HOA's CCRs document). The link to the PDF is correct on the page, the file is in the right folder. Every now and then this PDF disappears and the link is broken. I go in and upload the PDF again, sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. The PDF is there now, but I get a 404 error on the site.

I renamed my PDF from ccrs.pdf to VWHOA_ccrs.pdf, uploaded that file and changed the link. Now it works. But in the past when I've done that, the PDF for some reason disappears from X10hosting in the PDFs folder. No reason why!
