perl problem

i'm using my account here to experiment with perl and php i have a paid service on another site .... i wish ii had known about you guys when ii bought the service i like your user interface much beter than theres but i may buy another hosting account for a seperate site later on anyway..... on to my problem i am trying to run a simple hello world perl script and its not working for me i put it in the cgi-bin dir with permissions set to 755 named it hello.pl hello.cgi i've tried everything my path to perl (i checked in cpanel is /usr/bin/perl which is how i have it in the file .... any help here for the noob thanks
