Permissions problem

when my php file's permissions is 777 , it load 500 erro.
but if i change the php file' permission , the cms cannot work
why x10hosting cannot use 777?

it could be an issue with the version of php you are useing on your site i have gotten that a few times either that or php is currently down on your server

the PHP is up now
if i change 777 to 755 , it load right

thank you for your answer, but the problem has not be solved, i need the php file' permissions is 777. not 755

oh so it still won't load with the 777 permission

thinking about it This might be due to a php directive in an .htaccess file

777 permissions were disabled because of a security hole.
Almost all CMS works with 755 permissions.
The error you're getting is because you've the "Basic" PHP version. You need to upgrade your PHP version to "Intermediate". Read this thread: http://forums.x10hosting.com/news-announcements/30267-important-php-changes-read-all-servers.html.
