read the topic and answer

If there is another image uploading site which you think is good then discuss it here.

I prefer photobucket, since I can look up my photos really quick. Flickr is nice too.

I use my hosting account and install Coppermine =P That way, I can upload my backgrounds w/o it loosing quality or being resized.

I'm a registered user of ImageShack... Seems to do the job nicely. Hosting the image using university provided webspace always used to work too!

Ehh I really like both. Unfortunately, Photobucket recently had a new policy about SWF files; and free accounts may not upload them any more.

I dont do much SWF any more but sometimes I do for the gaming forum I am an Admin on. :)

I like photobucket for their *better* interface, however their photos take forever to load and they have a [fairly small] bandwidth limit. Plus they need you to register.
On the other hand imageshack hosted images load real fast, and their bandwidth limit is larger. Plus you dont have to register. Their clutterd interface is what gets me.

I like Photobucket, but if the picture is too big then Photobucket will automatically resize it, which is not so good >:3 So I think the best one is Image Cave: http://www.imagecave.com

I also use imageshack, they have a great load time and enough bandwidth for me. And photobucket appears to be slower.

i prefer photobucket.

even though imageshacks came up with username and now, you can save files that you've uploaded, it's not as handy as photobucket.

i've used tinypic before too. but it seems like after sometime, the picture will not be your original pic but of something else, mostly of naked women. this can be quite disturbing if tinypic links are posted at forums. however, it's easy to use. and easy to remember, tinypic.com

the bad thing about photobucket that i really hate is how they'll resize your pic if the size is too big. i once scanned my tutorials and uploaded for a friend, she yelled at me cause she can't read a word. o_O

xs.to is another image uploading site but it's kinda troublesome, in a way you have to checked the terms and condition box everytime you upload something and no thumbnails. (the last time i used it)

Imageshack FTW, it doesn't have the silly 25GB bandwidth limit.

I like photobucket, the speed over here is way better then imageshack.
Btw the resizing is only applied if viewed from the photobucket site.
The direct link or tags are full size.

I personally like photobucket better because i like the look of it, its really easy to view your pictures and i think its pretty fast. You can also save videos, make slide shows, and albums and sub albums. But either way they all do what you want them to do, people usually like whichever one they start with until they have a problem.
